Description
A set of four food supplements from the NATTO ACTIVE line: one package of each product (4 × 60 capsules of 750 mg). All are made from dried, organic non-GMO natto, supplemented with vitamins, coenzyme Q10 and plant extracts. Below you will find a description of the composition of the individual products and information on the status of their ingredients.
What is in the set
Product 1: Coenzyme Q10 + K2 MK-7 + Nattokinase
The capsules combine dried natto with coenzyme Q10 (300 mg), natural vitamin K2 MK-7 and nattokinase, a proteolytic enzyme formed during fermentation of soy. They also contain hemp seed oil, a source of fatty acids.
Product 2: Vitamin D3 4000 IU + K2 MK-7 + Nattokinase
The capsules provide vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol, 4000 IU) and natural vitamin K2 MK-7 from fermentation, set in a foundation of dried natto with nattokinase.
Product 3: Ashwagandha + Ginkgo + Bacopa + Rhodiola
The capsules contain dried natto, plant extracts (ashwagandha, ginkgo biloba, bacopa (brahmi), rhodiola), astaxanthin and B vitamins (B1, B6, B12).
Product 4: Curcumin + Ginger + Nattokinase + Piperine
The capsules combine dried natto with extracts of turmeric (curcumin 95%), ginger (95%) and piperine from black pepper. Piperine is traditionally added to curcumin preparations.
What we can say about the ingredients
Two ingredients of the set hold authorised EFSA health claims:
Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting. Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.
Vitamin D contributes to normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
Ingredients without health claims
Coenzyme Q10, nattokinase, plant extracts (ashwagandha, ginkgo biloba, bacopa (brahmi), rhodiola, curcumin, ginger, piperine) and astaxanthin do not hold authorised EFSA health claims. This information is provided solely to describe the products’ composition.
The B vitamins (B1, B6, B12) are nutrients. Full data on the content and the percentage of the nutrient reference value are given on the package labels.
Contraindications and warnings
Vitamin D3 at a dose of 4000 IU is intended solely for adults over 75 years of age. Before use it is advisable to have a blood 25-(OH)D test and to consult the result with a doctor or pharmacist.
The product contains natural vitamin K2 and nattokinase. People taking anticoagulant medication, in particular vitamin K antagonists (warfarin, acenocoumarol), must consult a doctor before consumption.
The product contains soy. Do not use in case of allergy to soy or to any of the plant ingredients (among others bacopa, ashwagandha, ginger).
People with gallstones or biliary obstruction should not use the product with curcumin without medical consultation. Owing to the presence of curcumin and piperine, people with liver disorders should consult a doctor.
Owing to the presence of piperine, the set may modify the absorption and metabolism of medication taken concurrently (cytochrome P450, P-glycoprotein). People taking medication on a permanent basis should consult a doctor.
Do not exceed the recommended daily serving of astaxanthin (8 mg). Do not combine with grapefruit (possible interactions). Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or in children and adolescents.
How to use
- In the morning, after a meal containing fats: 1 capsule of the product with coenzyme Q10 and 1 capsule of the product with vitamin D3.
- In the afternoon or evening: 1 capsule of the product with ashwagandha, ginkgo, bacopa and rhodiola, and 1 capsule of the product with curcumin, ginger and piperine.
Do not exceed the recommended daily serving. A food supplement must not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. A balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are the basis for the normal functioning of the body. Storage: in a dry, shaded place at room temperature. No refrigeration required. Keep out of reach of small children.

All products in the set are made from certified, organic natto from a Polish workshop, by traditional fermentation with Bacillus subtilis natto bacteria.
