Laboratory Testing of Natto

Laboratory testing of our natto

We are pleased to announce that our natto has been tested in an independent laboratory.

The analysis confirmed that the product contains vitamin K2 in the MK-7 form and the enzyme nattokinase, the components characteristic of well conducted soy fermentation.

Vitamin K2 MK-7 is a form of vitamin K, of which natto is one of the richest sources in food. Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and to the maintenance of normal bones. These are the two health claims authorised in the EU for vitamin K (Regulation (EU) 432/2012).

Nattokinase is an enzyme that forms during the fermentation of soy. It is the subject of scientific research, but in the European Union it has no authorised health claim.

The laboratory-confirmed content of these components is, for us, proof of the quality and repeatability of our production process.

This article was prepared by the Natto.pl team. It is educational in nature and does not replace medical consultation. Natto is a food, not a medicine. People taking anticoagulant medicines should consult their treating doctor about consuming products rich in vitamin K.
